ABOUT THE POSTION:
This position is responsible for monitoring and reporting quality assurance and quality control activities. This must be performed in accordance with all internal and external established guidelines governing the practices of Respiratory Care. Supervises respiratory therapists and other allied health care staff in the Department, as appropriate.
Interacts internally with Executive Management, Hospital Administration, Department Heads, and University and Hospital Officials. Interacts externally with the patient, patient relatives, community vendors, other RT departments in neighboring hospitals and the general public.
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
  • Graduate of A.M.A. accredited school for Respiratory Therapy.
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience as a respiratory therapist.
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRTT) credential.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred.
  • One (1) year experience in a supervisory/operations management role is preferred.
