Senior Compensation Analyst

Howard University Hospital (HUH) is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst.  This position plays an integral role in creating a positive employee experience by managing the compensation program responsibilities of HUH. As a member of this team you will coordinate, design, and administer system-wide compensation programs, policies, and procedures. What will you do?

  • Completes wage analysis and evaluation using an internal evaluation system and external market comparison.
  • Assures compliance with provisions of FLSA/DOL and other applicable regulatory agencies.
  • Research, recommend, and participate in salary surveys
  • Serves as an administrator for salary survey and pricing system.
What do you need?
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field (i.e. Business Administration, Statistics/Mathematics, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources) is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of direct experience in compensation is required.
  • Professional certification (Certified Compensation Professional, Professional in Human Resources) is preferred.
  • Prior experience working in a union environment is preferred.
  • Experience in Healthcare industry is a plus.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) (Preferred)
  • Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR or SHRM CP) (Preferred)
  • Prior experience with Lawson or other HRIS is helpful.
